Chairman’s Message
The seeds of an idea that were sown in 2007 have quickly come to fruition, and the school is growing into a strong sapling. The Vivekanand School is a highly progressive school pledged to provide quality education with an emphasis on traditional values. We at TVS strongly uphold the belief that education is the basis of all progress. The entire purpose of education is not to confine itself to imparting bookish knowledge only but also to instill humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and reliability in a student.
We believe in holistic education for every child- Edification integrated with co-curricular activities, sports education and life-skills learning. Our endeavour is to strike a balance between state-of-the-art infrastructure and an internationally acceptable education.The campus, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this effort. In order to promote quality education, faculty development has always been a key focus. TVS encourages students to learn about themselves and their constantly changing environment.
The school has experienced continuous progress due to its commitment to educational excellence. Our mission continues to drive our growth and progress, building on strong foundations.
Learning needs freedom to think and freedom to imagine, and both have to be facilitated by the teacher for the role of the teacher is like a proverbial ladder, it is used by all to climb up in life, but the ladder itself stays in place.
There are challenges ahead of us. However, together we can truly make a great difference. A large part of a child’s active life is spent in school. Every child gets emotional stability from the parents. It has been said in a variety of ways that family is the first and most influential teacher. We believe that and rely heavily on our partnership with you to educate your child. Every parent should spend at least one hour with their child. I advice the parents do attend PTM’s regularly and visit the website regularly for information about various activities. Encourage the child to participate.
